Suzlon secures 51 MW ONGC order
Mumbai: Suzlon, Asia leading and worlds fifth largest wind power solutions
company*, has received a major new order from ONGC, Indias leading Oil & Gas
Exploration & Production (E&P) player and a Fortune 500 Company, for 51 MW of wind
turbine capacity.
The order, to be supplied in 34 units of Suzlons S82 1.5 MW turbines, will be
installed as part of a project in the Kutch region of Gujarat, India, and also covers
comprehensive Operations and Maintenance for the project for a period of ten years.

The order comes in continuation with the growing momentum for sustainable
development and wind energy in India, which has contributed to make India the third
largest market for wind energy globally on the basis of annual installations.
